However, FIP (Feline Infectious Peritonitis) cannot be guaranteed against due to the lack of available test, but FIP is covered under the 1 year health guarantee. The buyer must take the cat/kitten to a Veterinarian within 72 hours for a complete examination if they want the 72 hour Health Guarantee. If the cat/kitten is found to have a serious medical problem, buyer may return the kitten within 72 hours for replacement. This request must be in writing and MUST be accompanied by a written letter from the examining licensed veterinarian which states the medical problem and why the cat/kitten's health is in question. Seller does not guarantee against anything treatable, including Upper Respiratory Infections, as it is commom for cats/kittens to become susceptible to URI's during transitioning periods, such as changing homes. The Seller agrees to replace cat/kitten with one of equal quality when one comes available. The Buyer is responsible for all shipping, vet, and/or ANY other costs associated with this cat/kitten once kitten leaves the seller's home. If the cat/kitten above dies within one year from the date of birth due to any congenital or hereditary defect, or if a breeder is not able to be bred within 2.5 years, the Breeder agrees to replace the cat/kitten with the next available cat/kitten of like quality, NO monies will be refunded. To determine if the cat/kitten's death was in fact caused by a congenital or hereditary defect and in order to receive replacement, the Seller must receive proof of the defect in the form of a complete necropsy report, completed and signed by a licensed veterinarian at the Buyers expense. Seller must also receive the full health and vaccination record of the kitten. Seller agrees to provide vaccination record, microchip papers (if micro-chipped), and TICA registration/blue slip at time of delivery or ASAP if it has not been received from TICA yet. Seller reserves the right to terminate this sale if cat/kitten's placement does not seem beneficial to the cat/kitten or cattery. Should this case arise a full refund will be provided immediately of all money paid, including the deposit. BUYER RESPONSIBILITIES: Buyer agrees that they will provide responsible care for the above cat/kitten including proper nutrition, companionship, flea control, veterinarian care, & core vaccinations - kitten will NOT be vaccinated for FIP (FeLV & FIV vaccines are not recommended). At least one scratching post, dry food, and fresh water will be provided for the cat/kitten at all times.    Buyer agrees that under NO circumstance will this cat/kitten be allowed to roam outdoors. Buyer agrees that this cat/kitten will not be declawed unless all other measures have been taken, tried, and failed and this is the last resort. Declawing is the amputation of the tips of their toes, not just the toe nails, and it is inhumane! Buyer agrees that in the event that they are unable to keep the cat/kitten, under NO circumstance will they sell, trade, lease, transfer, or give away cat/kitten to any animal shelter, rescue facility, pet shop, animal research facility/laboratory, or any other similar facility of any kind. Seller will help place kitten in new home if needed. Seller will also accept kitten back if another home cannot be found with no expectation of refund. Buyer agrees to register the cat/kitten with TICA even if purchased as a pet ($12 fee). Buyer agrees to register the micro-chip (if micro-chipped) in a data base if not already provided by the seller. Buyer agrees that the deposit for a pet or show cat/kitten in the amount of $200 for traditional & $300 for non-traditional is non-refundable but may be transferred to another kitten. Non-refundable Breeder deposits of $500 & $800 are required to hold breeder quality kittens up to 8 weeks of age when an additional $500 is required to further hold the kitten. Buyers agrees that final payment is required prior to or by the time the kitten is 10 weeks of age. Please remember all forms of payment other than cash will have to clear before your kitten will be allowed to go home with you. Buyer understands that no cat/kitten will be allowed to leave without a crate for the kitten to be placed in prior to leaving our home. If kitten is not paid in full, pick up, or have other arrangements made & approved by Seller by the time the kitten is 12 weeks of age ALL money is considered forfeited and kitten may be resold to another interested family. Buyer understands that if purchasing a cat/kitten as a show quality cat they may show the cat in shows; however, the Seller makes no guarantees that the cat will place and/or win.  Buyer understands that if they purchase a breeder that cannot perform breeding duties within 2.5 years, the kitten will be spayed/neutered and placed in a pet only home after first refusal rights are given to the original breeder, then a replacement kitten will be offered free of charge as soon as one of equal quality comes available. Buyer agrees not to breed until at least 1 year of age and, if female, no more than twice a year maximum. Buyer is responsible for all costs associated with shipping and any cost associated with plane delay   resulting in kenneling and/or vet care. Shipping cost within the US is $300-350 for one kitten and $350-400 if shipping two kittens. This price includes airline ticket, crate, rabies vaccination if needed, vet exam, and health certificate. Shipping will be arranged through Seller and full payment of shipping cost is required prior to airline reservations. Airline cost are nonrefundable, and if at any time, the cat is returned to Seller, or an additional cat is used for replacement, Buyer will be responsible for all original and additional shipping costs. The Buyer certifies that he/she is 18 years of age or older. BOTH BUYER & SELLER AGREE THAT: The seller will not be held liable for any costs what so ever (including veterinary, health care, medications, etc.) that may occur after kitten leaves Sellers premises. This is a legal binding document. Buyer agrees to forward all medical records and properly signed registration papers should the cat/kitten have to be surrendered back to the seller due to breech of contract with no reimbursements to buyer. If legal proceedings become necessary, the Buyer agrees that all legal and/or court proceedings must take place in the State/County in which the Seller resides and the Sellers maximum liability to the Buyer for any and all losses, claims, damages, or liabilities of any kind shall be limited to the amount paid by the Buyer to the Seller for this cat/kitten under this contract. Any breech of this contract will void the health guarantee and ALL terms and conditions remain in effect for the life of the cat/kitten.   By signing below, both the Buyer & the Seller indicate that they have read and agree with ALL the provisions of the above and agree to abide by the terms of this contract.
